Alkenes that are substituted by four heteroatoms are notable for their ease
–benzimidazolium-derived donors have been reported [15]. For comparison, donor 11 is also of interest, although it features two "stronger" donor components. As indicated below, our work has found remarkable effects of excess base in reactions of some hybriddonors.
